A quaker is when a coffee cherry is picked before it's completely ripe. Once it's roasted it is a completely different color than the rest of the beans. We have been collecting our quakers for over two years to be able to bring you this, zero waste , and sustainable offering.Quakers give an off taste to your coffee so we separate them for quality control. Each batch of coffee has anywhere from zero to a dozen quakers in it, depending on the farm and harvest.
This tastes like the inside of a shoe store covered in fish sauce topped with very dense peanut butter. It's not pleasant :)
